Freedom vs. a Frank "family"

As James and I trudge through the unnatural and unromantic medical hoops in an attempt to add to the Frank family, we can't help but examine closely whether it is worth all of the tests and poking and prodding to become parents.  Last week we went out to eat whenever we wanted to, got 9 hours of sleep per night, stayed up till 1am rocking out at karaoke on Friday night, watched movies all night Sunday, I took an 8 mile urban hike with my buddy Caitlin on Saturday, and James continues his daily regimen of packing in as many activities as possible.  How could we do this with kids?  Based on observations of family and neighbors, we couldn't.  Everyone says "oh but it is worth it."  Well, we'll take that into consideration.  Right now we have  the very best of both worlds-  we've got karaoke on Friday night and kids coming out of our ears with no responsibility!

Here's us rocking out at Mel-o-Dee on Friday night!

And here's all of our babies that we get to hang out with any time!

In order from youngest to oldest-
Charlie- aged 4 months- He's playing coy...

Charlie-  I gave him a little tickle and he perked right up!
Dabi- Age 2 1/2 Swinging

Dabi- Sharing Carrots with everyone

Isaac Age 3 - Look at those eyelashes!

Isaac- not wanting to share ANY of his Carrots.
My kids are pretty cute too, huh!!!???

  1. keep jumping through hoops. As tough as parenthood can be, it offers moments that are unlike any other you can or will experience. It changes you as a person, and for the better. And I'm a pessimist, saying this!
